The CWA Local 13101 and IBEW Local 313 played a hockey game on February 16th to raise money for VFW Operation Uplink. The game and beef and beer afterwards raised $5000 which was matched by the Verizion Foundation for a grand total of $10,000 which will be used to purchase phone cards for our armed forces personnel overseas to call home. The final score was CWA 3 - IBEW 0.
