for our members. The Union Labor Life Insurance Company (ULLICO),
along with Zenith Administrators will provide negotiators with
competitive rates for presentation to prospective employers. Dental
and life insurance is also available through the Trust. This is a
totally new health trust and we look forward to have it become an
integral part of our organizing and collective bargaining efforts.
CWA NATIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING TRUST This Trust coordinates our apprenticeship and employment center referral projects. Certification and training update programs will also be provided through the Trust. We recently opened our first center in Fremont, California; and we expect to open the Cleveland, Ohio center this fall. Other CWA training sites will be considered based on the interest of employers and local representatives, provided methods can be put in place to fund our efforts. We currently have approximately 150 apprentices working for US West, and about 40 working through a multi-employer arrangement in Northern California.
